The original pattern - yes, I omitted the applique tongues on the blocks and changed the colours to bright, but I did stick with the actual block design. I used navy to frame the blocks, for the narrow border and binding.

Beyond the Garden Gate
A design by the talented Leanne May of Candlelight Creations.
My version finished and I am very happy. I started this quilt with a friend early in 2006 and the completed top has been languishing in a bag since late in 2008.

Crocheting this..
Stitching this...
and Quilting this
This quilt top has been completed for a good year and a half, I decided it was time to finish it off. The design is Beyond the Garden Gate from Candlelight Creations - I know I changed the colours big time!
Gotta love a few days filled with crafty opportunities.
Visited the old people last night - lots of crafty supplies to show next time.
Hope everyone enjoyed a Happy and Safe Easter Day, with lots of chocolate yummies.
Happy Creating
