Sleep In!!

I mean Sew In -

Last night was Friday Night Sew In hosted by Heidi and Bobbi - but as my title suggests there was way more sleeping than sewing. In fact not one stitch was sewn.
There was a little cutting for some new projects - yes, that is plural. More than one project started with the Melbourne and Sydney prints. I really wanted to sew but  knew that would have ended in disaster or at least  a lot of unsewing last night.

I did manage to knit a couple of stripes on the latest project, taking things nice and slow on this one.

Hope there was some sewing action at your place.

It was good to get some preparation work in. Better than nothing at all.

The preparation always takes time so good to get that done. If your tired best to stop as reverse sewing is not good. Been there many times. I got some sewing done but did some cutting out as well.

At least you achieved some things so not a wasted FNSI. Some times it is like that isnt it, and it is better to avoid that pesky unsewing.

I tell you, I was trying to cross-stitch the other night and kept making mistakes. When that happens, I know it is time to put everything away and hit the hay. :) Have a great weekend. Tammy

Visiting from FNSI .... I think you have achieved to plan and prep a project and also do some knitting. Just every now and again we all have to stop and recharge our batteries lol. I love those other shawls you have been working on too.

Prep is still a worthwhile activity . without prep work there would be nothing to sew !

I just go with the flow these days. If I fall asleep -I fall asleep. I try really hard not to do it at work though...

Better to prep than reverse sew! Looking interesting...
