FNWF - the blue edition

There was some stitching -

and some knitting, just as planned.

I finished knitting the sock - just need to weave in some ends and they will be ready to deliver to the Father.
While I was tempted to cast on another sock, I resisted and did some stitching on the Angel.
She is coming along nicely, I even put some more stitches in it today, that'll be why the second picture has legs and shoes,

Today is much cooler than yesterday so I took the opportunity for a leisurely walk at the beach this morning.
Now to choose the next sock design. leaning towards a design from my new book, then I'll cast on again, there's plenty of yarn in the stash ready to go.

Hope your weekend is just perfect.

Jealous as hell! We are 44 again up here and at the moment would be pleased with anything under 38 lol. Your angel is looking great and another sock done too.

Oh...oh...oh!! You sound like someone I know...find it hard to put your knitting needles down to do stitching??? Oh yes, that's so like me. lol. Once you have done some stitching though you must feel very proud of yourself, because your stitching is lovely!!
Cheers, Anita.

So you got two things done instead of one, good work. Knitted socks are on my "to do" list. Maybe this winter.
