Granny blanket

I am enjoying the simplicity of the Granny blanket for my commute project and a little frivolous bedtime reading, very light and airy. I do enjoy being entertained.

Growing nicely - now at 40 rounds and just over 30 inches square, I'll keep going until those balls are finished.

The yarn is super soft 4 ply baby acrylic and nylon mix making this a very light and durable project.

If you'd like to check out other yarny projects or join in pop on over to Ginny's place.

Hope the sun is shining in your corner of the world,

Your vest looks great too. Can't wait till you get going on those softies. That caterpillar is so cute.

That blankie just keeps getting more snuggly looking...best you get it finished soon though, it might start to get a bit warm for a blanket on the train if today's lovely sunshine was anything to go by...

I always find it amusing when I read Louise Bagshawe books that she's an MP... Can't remember her real name off the top of my head though.

Blanket is looking wonderfully snuggly :)

haha! I first read that as your blanket was up to 40 POUNDS, not rounds! I was very impressed!
