Building blocks

Adding to the block count this week and reading 'It takes a village' by Christine Stinson.

Set in post war Sydney. the main character is a young girl who grows up an orphan with her grandfather and cared for by neighbours. A story about community at its worst and best.

The current stack - count 29.

More to come.
Joining in the yarn along this week - and getting lots of inspiration from the other participants.
Hope your week is colourful.

Well done!
Have you decided what the final tally will be?

Your blocks are pretty! I usually resist doing any kind of squares because I loathe weaving in ends. Even the scrapgan that I am doing right now, though I love it, is driving me crazy with end-weaving! lol! :)

Sounds like a great book, I will definitely have to take a look at it. I am also working on some granny squares, looks like you are much further along than me!
