It really has been a good week for knitting and this little number is coming along nicely once I figured out how to count the rows when there is no wrong side.
I am liking the little cable detail on the front, now for the neck and armhole shaping - more attention required.
The pattern is from 'The Elle knitting book' published 1984.
I have enjoyed reading 'Queen of Broken Hearts' by Cassandra King. I am almost finished, it has been quite unpredictable so I am looking forward to the ending.
Joining in the Yarn along over at Small Things and checking out all the inspiration there.
Hope there is time in your week for some stitches.

Looking fabulous....

ReplyDeletelovely cable feature. Definitely been knitting weather!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous creation. I would have to say you're a master knitter. I have yet to manage truly square squares (which reminds me I was going to drag out some needles and wool and start a blanket !)
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to visit for a while
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed seeing what you have been up to
♥ Wow...you are amazing! I have never attempted anything quite so ambitious, but should!!! It's very beautiful.
